Privacy Policy — RoomGPT

RoomGPT (“App”) is developed by Houssam Boudrissi (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App to redesign interiors, exteriors, and gardens.

1. Information We Collect

  • No Account Required: You can use RoomGPT without creating an account.
  • No Personal Profile: We do not ask for your name, email, or other personal identifiers to generate designs.
  • Device & Attribution Identifiers (IDFA/GAID): If you consent, we may access the platform advertising identifier solely for attribution and performance analytics (e.g., understanding which ad led to an install). On iOS, access requires your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission.

2. Photos & Generation

  • Your Photos Stay Yours: Images you import are stored locally on your device.
  • On-Device Whenever Possible: We process generation tasks on-device when supported by your hardware.
  • Temporary Backend Jobs: If a server job is needed (e.g., heavy models), your photo and the generated result are transmitted securely and temporary files are deleted after delivery.
  • We do not use your photos to train models unless we explicitly ask and you agree.

3. Data Storage

  • Designs, before/after previews, and exports are saved locally on your device unless you choose to share or back them up elsewhere.
  • We do not maintain cloud archives of your photos or results.

4. Analytics

We may collect aggregated, non-identifying usage metrics (e.g., number of generations, feature usage) to improve the App’s performance and reliability. These metrics do not include your photos or generated images.

5. Data Sharing

  • We do not sell or rent your data.
  • We may use trusted processors (e.g., cloud inference providers) only to run a requested generation. They must delete temporary files after completion.

6. Your Choices & Rights

  • Manage Permissions: Revoke camera, photos, or tracking permissions in your device settings.
  • Delete Local Data: You can delete projects and images from within your device’s Photos/Files apps or the App (where available).

7. Children’s Privacy

RoomGPT is not directed to children under the age required by local law. If you believe a child has provided images or information to us, contact us and we will assist.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
